Contract processing

Increasing demands on packaging entail an increasingly complex production process. In this context, we have specialized in film finishing. For a wide variety of applications, we join different materials together using solvent-free adhesive systems in order to combine the complementary properties. Through a revised machine concept, onlatech GmbH & Co. KG creates a new performance portfolio in the field of solvent-free lamination technology.

Laminating

Laminating

Laminating means that two or more different plastic films are bonded together to combine and complement the different properties of the films, in turn to achieve a final product which meets different needs such as specific barrier properties and/ or puncture resistance.

This production process is referred to as "film finishing".

The exact knowledge and selection of the adhesive materials to be used plays a decisive role. Various temperature control systems come into play during the laminating process. Usually, we offer an adhesive to be used as standard. However, on request, customer-specific or selected adhesives specified by the customer can be provided through us or by the customer.

Cutting

Cutting

With our slicing and confectioning plant, web-shaped materials are trimmed precisely to fit customer-specific requirements.

Assignments are precisely cut, edge-straight wound and palletized according to customer specifications. We can cut to a minimum roll width of < 50 mm and wind up to an outer diameter of 800 mm.

Labeling can also be done with provided labels upon request.

Coating

Coating

The use of curtain-coating-nozzles in our coating plant enables us to realize a contactless coating width of up to 1,400 mm and application weights from 5 g/m² to 100 g/m². Contract coating ensures low manufacturing tolerances for the highest demands through inline camera inspection.

Hotmelt adhesives are used for permanent or removable bonding, whether for masking, fixing, fastening or labeling.

Stamping

Stamping

Stamping is a separating process which is mainly used for perforating and/ or punching out flat materials.

Thin materials such as plastic, metal and copper foil or paper can be punched on our rotary or stroke stamping machines. Thicker materials such as composites, leather and sheet metal can also be punched. Customized molds and stamping plates are created to produce precisely defined and specified molded parts.

„Our mindset on quality is always future-oriented. We are not satisfied with what we have achieved, but do everything we can to continuosly improve and optimize our processes, systems, products and services.“
